Brett Favre may be a Jet, but Rex Grossman and the Neckbeard are still Bears ... what does that mean? Absolutely nothing ... except that Brett Favre is actually a QB and not just some guy pretending to be one.

In an effort to hit him on the way out, Packers management actually took all the doors at Lambeau off their hinges and threw them all at him, his family, the state of Mississippi, and for good measure, Ben Stiller, his co-star in There's Something About Mary.

Dear Brett,

You know what? We had something going here. Something really good. I felt that spark. My sisters and brothers loved you. My parents were skepitcal at first. They only want what's best for their daughter. Can you blame them? You have two yourself. But you, you were different. My parents even grew to love and adore you, which says so much. I thought we had a lot in common: football, green and gold, Wisconsin, our mutual admiration for Mike Holmgren, we both liked cheese and ESPN. We've been through a lot: injury, your drug addiction. And I stood by you all the way. Every step of the way. Do you remember? I honestly saw myself growing old with you.

But it's over. And you know what? I am sad about it. But I'll move on. My heart may be broken, but I am glad that I saw this over-emotional crybaby side of you now, your total lack of commitment to us, before things got even more serious.

I suppose there is Aaron Rogers. I know what you'll say: "going for the sloppy seconds, Sparky". Yeah, I know he's a younger guy. And he started in a community college. But big deal. He can read. And now that he has trimmed that god-awful mullet of his, maybe I could get to know him. His likes and dislikes. His passions. Maybe we could have a few beers together...I mean, I could drink the beers while I watch him work, get all sweaty, make some completions.

It was fun while it lasted, Brett. Thanks for the memories, the laughter, the tears. We will always, always have Green Bay. And I will never, ever forget that.

Love,
Sparky

I can't imagine how both sides (Favre, Packers) could have played their hands more horribly.
