Chicago was sixth the last time Forbes did this list. You have to give propers to Austin for making the big leap from fifth to first. 'Course, if I lived in the state George W. Bush called home, I'd want to drink heavy, too.

two things: san francisco is spelled wrong and based on those statistics, me and pretty much everyone i know seem to be major alcoholics. i would have guessed all of those stats to be much higher

there has to be a better way to find out hard-drinking cities. the questions seem far too vague and non-scientific.

HAvign visited friends in college many times in Providence, trust me that they drink hard. Not to mention if you lived in Providence wouldnt you drink hard?
