<description>&lt;p&gt;The figures I&apos;ve seen show a slight reduction in the number of crossing affected using the new proposed routes versus the current configuration. So it would appear the best choice for the metro area overall is the new route. &lt;/p&gt;</description>

In addition, the ability to bypass the congestion near the metropolitan core and move trains faster through the area has the potential to enhance the area&apos;s competitive standing and create jobs.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
