oph ... have you ever considered that maybe these doctors have SEEN this happen in the time they've been practicing? that there have been times when they knew they had nothing left to offer but comfort measures and shrug of their shoulders, yet a person made a remarkable recovery despite their best efforts and intellect? i think it's wise when science keeps an open mind to everything (which i think is the point of science) and when people of faith embrace all that the universe has to offer (including the gifts and wonders of science).

I'm not surprised that over half the people in this country are freakin' idiots. I've learned that from the last few elections. But the fact that a full ONE-FIFTH of doctors believe this crap? Downright terrifying.
