As far as I know (what do I know) Spanky was just a write in name. There is no Spanky Shtick. Raymond Gerald Wardingley (R) • Challenger Back to top Raymond Wardingley, 69, a retired entertainer, was one of 12 children reared on the Southeast Side of Chicago. Wardingley served in the Air Force from 1955 to 1957 and studied briefly with the Goodman Theater Company in 1962, before moving to Hollywood, Calif. There, he earned a living performing in commercials and as an extra in movies including "Hello Dolly" and "Paint your Wagon." "I always played a drunk," he said. "It paid good." Wardingley continued acting in commercials when he returned to Chicago in 1968. He ran against Mayor Richard J. Daley as a write-in candidate named "Spanky the Clown" in 1976. He's run unsuccessfully for mayor several other times. This is the third time he has run for Congress against incumbent Bobby Rush. Wardingley currently lives in the city's Morgan Park neighborhood with his wife, Karen. The couple has no children.

Threemil is a high school graduate who was woefully unqualified for that 60K a year gig. His quote gives you an idea of the mind we're working with here. "economic development is my strongest point." First, it's strong suit, not point. And what does he mean by point? Of comparison? Why is it his strongest? What are his other points? Nah, all that matters is he gets the job cause his daddy gave it to him. Schmuck. Oh and Clay Davis and Emil Jones ("Sheeeeeeet") same number of letters in each of their names. Cue the creepy Lincoln/Kennedy comparisons.

I love how Threemil says his strength is "economic development". Umm, yeah, your personal economics seems to be doing OK with your $60,000 state job, Threemil, but you do realize that wasn't arrived at in a vacuum, right?
