This brings back a strong sense of discomfort that had been buried deep in my brain. I remember watching that ALL the time, but, really, is there a scarier cast of characters in any other children's show?

I'm in my late 20's and I remember watching Bozo's Circus getting ready in the morning for school in the early 90's. The parade, the buckets, Wizzo! Just good goofy fun in the morning. Now it's all this anime/manga fight-em shit. I want my kids to enjoy pie-fights and compete to win a "CRISP...NEW...HUNDREDDOLLARBILL!"

I am always amazed when I talk about this show and people have no idea what I am talking about. Definitely a pop culture touchstone for people that grew up in Chicago. I also think we are showing our age.

I have them all on VHS. I need to dig them up and get them converted to DVD. My wife contacted BJ online and he sold them to her. That was the best TV show EVER!!!!! Dirty Dragon!!!!

Oh, is THAT a trip down memory lane. I used to wake up specifically to watch that show. I had a friend growing up, too, who would snort when he laughed - we nicknamed him "Gigglesnort".
