How have I never heard any of that story before? It's like a twisted Stephen King meets Brothers Grimm fairy tale. I'd say it should be made into a movie, but I think it would be perceived as too over-the-top to be believable.

This is a big loss for WGN. I remember her on countless PSA's and doing the commentary for various parades. And you're right - it makes me feel old, too. She's always been on TV for as long as I've been alive.
