this place rocks, and it's a nice road trip out there. i went and picked up my CTA signs out there. v. cool. wish i had had more time to spend. also ... it's funny that the more things change, the more things stay the same. my friends and i just saw an ad on the el for what seemed to amount to a couples dating service? a place for couples to meet other couples? and it said something like .. none of our friends like sushi ... so we got new ones. we were laughing our asses off at how shallow that was. really? your friends don't like sushi so you're ditching them? awesome.

I still remember my grandparents' old phone number as NAtional2-####. Actually, I can recall that better than I can recall my own phone number.

It don't mean a thing if you ain't got that swing... And goodness, doesn't THAT bring me back - my grandparents to their dying day used to give their phone number as EUclid 3-####. :)
