Last night girlfriend and I took a bike ride on the lakefront path from Diversey to just past Montrose. Excellent ride! Usually she and I direct ourselves south on the lakefront towards Navy Pier. Going north it was far less crowded than I expected. Plus, there were many tasty bugs to chew on after they flew in our mouths.

Man, I *just* went on a sailboat! That was as cool as you'd imagine. It was such a good day outside for it too.

You know, what's even cooler is that you ask your friends how they spent their day, and then you reply (after they say whatever lame thing they did), "Well, I went sailing."

No matter what your friends say back, you will secretly know you had the better day. Unless their day had something to do with Jean Claude Van Damme or maybe even Chuck Norris. But that's really the only exception.

(Also, I think I've done a good amount of the things on this list. Thank you for reminding me there's more to do, yet.)

yeah, for all my lamenting that there's no culver's here ... i ALWAYS forget about scooter's. and it's the real deal, yo!

spring cleaning becomes fall cleaning? but also, i should throw open all the windows and do this as well.

and i have made a solemn promise to myself that i AM getting a SAD lamp this year. it's worth the $200 if it will spare me some pain and misery. every year i say i will, and every year i don't. this WILL be the year. all around, i say!
