The Deerpath car once had two other private cars attached to it.
Deerpath was nicknamed Cowpath by the riders of the regular coaches & one of the other ones was nicknamed Psychopath.

One of the things I hate about Starved Rock is that the only hint (and it's only a hint) of nature you get within 200 miles of this city is plastered with boardwalks and fences and gates and signs warning idiots about dangerous cliffs, because I guess Illinois people have never figured out this whole gravity thing. And I suppose now, our caretakers will head out to make it worse.

There are some good spots w/in 200 miles, you just need to know where to look.

One I might recommend for you would be a place called Shades State Park in Waveland, IN.

Better canyons and trails, geared more towards people who camp regularly. It was one of my favorite campgrounds while scouting. Great scenery, access to canoeing, and during the fall a short drive to the Feast of the Hunters Moon
