If you consider how much time Soriano has missed this year, his stats are pretty freaking good. DeRo is having a career year though. And this team does worry me for the playoffs. They worried me before this recent stretch of awful baseball and now I'm even more concerned with the offense and the pitching.

How about Soriano? 24 Home Runs and only 64 freaking RBI's???? Ugh. How about some love for DeRosa who is having a career year? I don't care how good their record is, this team makes me nervous, playoffs-wise.

I would also like to kick Derrek in the junk. I can't believe he's batting .290 for the year. He must only be getting hits with no one on base or no RISP. It's astonishing how unclutch he has been this year. 25 double plays! JESUS H. CHRIST!

To put Bob Howry in the game is to expect a poor relief performance. If Lou puts him on the postseason roster, I'll fucking scream. (Then again, last night in the eighth inning I said that if Derrek Lee grounded into yet another double play, I would run down to Wrigley Field and kick him in the balls, and I didn't back that one up either.)
