O.K., it's not Chicago related, but we know the New Zealand duo Flight of the Conchords have lots of Chicago fans, right? Well, we're sad to say that their next season will also be their last. While we're pleased to see that they're going out on a high note before the series has a chance to devolve, we're upset we'll only have one more season to see that hair helmet or see someone get hit in the face with a sandwich.

This is truly sad.
This is a good move. I'm a bit worried about the new season anyway, simply because Season 1 was written around already existing solid tunes they had in the can. Writing an entire new season of musical and non-musical content seems dicey.
Agreed, tc3. I kind of saw this coming since they already used most of their existing material. Still sad news :(
What, they couldn't write new songs? Had they reached the quota of songs of their career? Besides, even without the songs, which were merely interludes, the series was funny as hell. Heck, skip the songs. The idea of mediocre New Zealand musical duo trying to cut their teeth in NYC is funny enough as it is.
Long live Murray.
As much as I understand why they might call it quits after this season, I will still be sad to see an end to the Conchord world that they created. Their songs are great but the series and all its zaniness was equally sublime.
