CQ got beaned HOW many times this year? Its absolutely rediculous...the last time it happened it was his first game back after getting hit 5 games in a row. And sure enough: he gets hit again; i think the ball flew as far as the dugout. And never once did the Sox retaliate. Im not sure if that was the cause of the injury, but it sure wouldnt surprise me. And I really feel bad for the guy. He was a legit MVP contender. And wrists injuries are not easy to come back from...his career could be fucking over. Fuck.

Heard from a few people (friends, work associates) that Carlos the Caveman injured himself punching something in the clubhouse while in Boston. If this is true that'd be a real shame for a guy having a MVP-caliber season.
