Prints Featured at Threadless Gallery Show

2008_9_05_threadless.jpgThe tiny gallery on the second floor of the Threadless shop in Lakeview usually hosts artwork of the graphic design sort, not really a surprise due to the nature of the company. In the same vein, the new show opening at Threadless gallery this evening is a celebration of printmakers and print collectives based in Chicago. All artists featured at the show have had their work printed by Threadless PRINTS.*

Featured artists include Mat Daly, The Post Family, Delicious, Sonnenzimmer and Dan Grzeca.

* As a half boredom/half instigation exercise, we went through and found Threadless prints that some of the Chicagoist writers should be wearing:
Margaret
Marcus
Chuck
Tankboy
L. Stolpman

3011 N. Broadway, 9/5 – 10/1, opening reception tonight from 7–9 p.m., Free

Actually, I do own that shirt. I own multiple shirts that feature humping unicorns. I can't say why, really...

Wouldn't it make more sense to have your writers wear shirts instead of prints?
