Back in April, the Bleeding Heart Bakery at 1955 W. Belmont created a line of Top Chef inspired cupcakes, one of which was a spicy chocolate version topped with a faux bacon rose. At the time, we pined for a real bacon cupcake. Well, Bleeding Heart heeded our call and here it is -- an organic bacon peanut butter chocolate cupcake. Good god. We have not tried one of these bad boys yet, but we will remedy that situation shortly.

Stroger Makes Hollywood Play



We simply love chocolate - peanut butter cupcakes.
We make them on weekends at home.
We add small bits of buttered soaked pecans in the peanut butter and in the chocolate, we mix in small amounts of whipped chocolate cream filling.
The end results is mesmerizing.
We have two versions - one without icing and one with icing. We have both milk chocolate and vanilla icing options
Needs more bacon.
I have had one of these.
There is MORE bacon in the cupcake!
