Cubs Fan Earns FAIL Of The Weekend

Cubs fan Rafael Rosario, 26, learned the hard way this weekend that you can't pretend to be a Federal agent. It all started when Rosario was denied beer by a vendor at Cinicinnati's Great American Ballpark during Saturday's Cubs-Reds game. When the visibly drunk Rosario kept pestering the vendor, Cincinnati Police officers were called over. And that's when Rosario played the Ron Burgundy "I'm kind of a big deal" card.

When Cincinnati Police asked to see Rosario’s I.D., he tensed up and claimed he was a federal agent and the officer had no right to see his I.D. Records show Rosario is employed by the Transportation Safety Administration at O’Hare Airport in Chicago. Police say he gave them an Illinois state drivers license, not a federal I.D.
Rosario is scheduled to be arraigned Monday on charges of disorderly conduct while intoxicated.

This is the 2nd instance I have heard of TSA personnel self-identifying as a "Federal Agent." The last thing we need is these TSA folks getting some idea they are "agents" and going all "24" on us. They are "contracted employees" not Federal Agents. They barely rate above food service workers in the Federal hierarchy. Yet, these FBI wannabes are all that stand between us and a plane hijacking. I feel safer.

Bye bye job!
Perhaps this person can be employed as a Traffic Management Authority officer. They seem to act far more important than they really are. Looks like a good fit for Rosario, doncha think?
