Leave it on the radio. God, why do the media muckey mucks think tv or movie makes everything better? And you know once they get their meathooks on it they'll decided that the cast isn't photogenic enough for TV. "Gee, are we sold on the Paula Poundstone? Can we get Sara Silverman or someone like that? What about Denis Leary as host?"

It works well as a quirky little radio show, but on tv? Meh. It would be "The Gong Show" or "Whose line is it anyway" but more topical FAIL. I watched the "This American Life" tv show and could barely get through one episode with all the slo-mo emo pacing and PATHOS being funneled in. I wish them success, Sagal's a good egg and Carl Castle is fun, but radio just works for this show.

Oh, oh! I actually heard information about this as well from an "inside source." (No, really.) Apparently the big stumbling block for the show getting made is they want to move the whole production to Los Angeles and there has been heavy resistance to this. They want to do the show but keep in Chicago. Oh, I finally have useless knowledge I can share!
