I love their Mayan hot chocolate. Chocolate + coffee + a little bit of spice = the best autumn pick-me-up known to man. Plus, their baristas are excellent at foaming milk, which makes everything you get smooth, creamy and full of love.

Finally, someone goes to a coffee shop and reviews the coffee! Thanks Chicagoist! It would be nice, however, to have gotten reviews of a straight espresso and drip coffee. The espresso especially would be a good indicator of how good the shop is overall, since it's the basis for almost every drink.

but what stood out most was the actual bar at the front of the café complete with tall barstools and close-up view of the baristas at work. That's because it was a real bar not too long ago.

Love this place, it has a great vibe and laid back atmosphere. I work from home and sometimers need a change of scenery and this place is my oasis. It seems to be doing good business as it's harder and harder to find a place to sit on some days.
