Actually, when Obama voted against the Louisiana bridge he did explain, something which none of the major news outlets have mentioned, but which is available at politifact.com. He said, ""Others intent on cutting spending have pointed to Alaska’s ‘Bridge to Nowhere’ as a wasteful project," Obama wrote. "I agree and believe that it represents the first type of project we should cut. But it’s wrong to single out one state’s pork project. If we’re serious about shared responsibility, let’s eliminate all pork projects in all states." It was reported in the Tribune.

Biden shooting off his mouth. No it's just Biden speaking alittle unvarnished truth kinda like these quotes. Feb. 2007 on Obama's appeal: "I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean that's a storybook, man." Aug. 2007 on Obama's experience: "I think he can be ready, but right now I don't believe he is. The presidency is not something that lends itself to on-the-job training." Sept. 2007 on Obama's Iraq plan: "My impression is he thinks that if we leave, somehow the Iraqis are going to have an epiphany. I've seen zero evidence of that." Biden believes Obama shouldnt be president but he is willing to go along for the ride if it means he gets to be vice President
