And You Thought You Took Your Pub Trivia Seriously

Despite Chicago Magazine's awarding of "Best Pub Trivia" to the Globe Pub a few months ago, we courteously beg to differ. Does the Globe have a drag queen falsetto-voiced nun holding "class" on a weekly basis? We doubt it. But Crew Bar and Grill sure does. We're also pretty sure that the Globe isn't so hardcore that they would create their own nuns-on-the-run video for it.

Sister Mary Monistat and her own little convent traipse around town spreading trivia cheer to churches, volleyball courts, the Pleasure Chest, and the Uptown theater. The only thing funnier than nuns playing beach volleyball is monkeys wearing underpants and smoking cigars. It's a comedic fact.

Don't let our general ass-kicking of the rest of the bar for the last few weeks (as a member of the Naughty Wombats, we look forward to taking the semester's crown tonight at 8 p.m.) skew your outlook on Crew Trivia. Maybe we'll relinquish the throne at some point. But if you want to take us on, bring your sharpest #2 pencil and your thinking hats.
