Today's Weather: Blase

There has been so much to enjoy about our recent weather, so much to embrace as a pleasant late-summer stretch of mild temperatures and sunny skies (save for that one weekend) gave us ample time to get outside and stave off the approaching winter. This new weather, though, does nothing for us. Thanks for coming, but we're not interested. Patchy morning fog? Highs in the upper 60's? Mostly cloudy skies with a 50 percent chance of afternoon showers? It's just hard to get excited for. Not that tonight, with its lows in the lower 50's and continuing cloudiness and lingering threat of showers gives us much more to look forward to.

Well the first thing I noticed waking up this morning was how dark it was. Soon it will be dark by 4:30pm again. I just hope all those fools who spent so much time hat'n on Summer and her beautiful hot weather are happy now
