For a real treat, book the private room and go for the chef's tasting and wine pairing menu. You just show up, sit down and they bring out dish after dish, all paired with a specific wine. Highly recommended.

Terrific article, Ms. Stolpman. Maybe we should skip the Korean BBQ and go here instead!!!

This also reminds me why I picked a regular 9-5 job than over a grueling chef's job (I thought about culinary school a few years ago). I don't think I could hump it.

Matty, you should ask Ms. Kim out on a date, but don't be surprised if she fires you as her boyfriend...seems like a tough role to play.

I grew up near what is now called "Korea Town" and would absolutely LOVE to see a "fine-dining" Korean place, especially one from a Trotter's protege.

Opera is just delicious. The crab/lobster spring rolls are the best starter I've eaten in memory. You could make a meal of them. It's a lovely place to eat too.
