I beg to differ. The Sox were competitive in all three of their losses. Buehrle pitched a hell of a game in game 2 and they came back once they got Vazquez out of game 1. The Rays outplayed and outpitched them, sure, and they tried too hard to win with homeruns, but they were not blown out in any game.

All in all, a bittersweet end to a great season for a team that generally performed well and exceeded expectations. It feels good to win a game in a postseason we weren't even supposed to see ... probably much better than it feels to be swept in a postseason you were supposed to own. Tampa's a brilliant team, and I wish them the best.
