Yer Darn Right Today Is The Deadline To Register To Vote

palin%20wink.jpgWe know it's hard for you Joe Six Packs and Hockey Moms to get out to register to vote in this crazy world we live in. We just wanted to reminded you that today is the last day to register to vote. Still haven't but want to? You betcha ya can. Just head on out to one of these six locations if you're registering here in the Windy City.

But what if you live outside the city? Visit your city, village, or township's clerk, dontcha know. And if you fancy yourself a masochist, you can even register at a Secretary of State's office when renewing your drivers license.

If you're a maverick and miss the registration deadline, well, you can still register to vote by absentee during the "grace period" at any of the six clerk locations above. Once again, those dates are listed below:

Wed. - Fri. (Oct. 8-10) - 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sat. - Sun. (Oct. 11-12) - 9:00 a.m. - Noon
Mon. - Fri. (Oct. 13-17) - 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sat. (Oct. 18) - 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sun. (Oct. 19) - 9:00 a.m. - Noon
Mon. - Tues. (Oct. 20-21) - 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m
