"being aware that everyone in this whole country is doing the same thing that I'm doing right now" It would be great if everyone were doing the same thing. Unfortunately, only about half of the possible voters joined you the last time around. And for non-Presidential elections, the percentage drops off significantly.

In all my years on this planet, and in all of the different places I've lived, I've NEVER had to wait in a line to vote. I also agree that there is something electric about walking to my local polling place on Election Day and knowing that I am a part of something so much bigger than myself....being aware that everyone in this whole country is doing the same thing that I'm doing right now. It's a very exciting process and one that I am really happy to be sharing with my 18 year old son, for his first time, this year.

Another question--do I have to vote in my ward? Because Welles Park is a lot more convenient than Independence Park Library.
