One of the best things about moving back to Chicago from the wilds of central PA is finally getting to drink Surly -- I've been hearing how great it is ever since Omar (the husband of a good friend from college) started brewing, and now I finally get a chance to taste for myself.

I had a Surly Bender at Hackney's last week and was not disappointed -- a great beer that doesn't fall prey to Surly's occasional tendency to over-hop their beers.

Now I just need to find a place that serves it which is closer to my house in Evanston...

Great beer. I too wish I could get the cans here. Also, they are pouring Coffee Bender at a few places 'round town. Had one at Long Room...quite tasty.
