Oh Noes Chicago!

My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James took a tumble at a show last night, forcing him to cancel both his Obama benefit at Schubas tonight and the planned My Morning Jacket shows at the Chicago Theatre this week. Hacky sacks will be flown at half mast for the remainder of the day in light of this development.

Bummer - I was looking forward to the Chicago Theatre show Friday night. Hope he gets better.

Hacky sacks at half mast? That one is a stretch. Not funny, and MMJ is a little more rockin and deserves more than a generic hippy jab like that.

For the record, I'm a MMJ fan ... but you have to be aware that they are the hipster hippy band. The only group more tie-dyed is Animal Collective.

what's with you and dissociating yourself with anything "hipster"??

That's such a vague term anyway.

Who is disassociating? Not I!

I am aware that they are somewhat hipster hippie. Doesnt mean the joke isn't bad and generic.

MMJ is lame. Will they be ok for Bonaroo?
