I do not think that Palin will be able to shake that thick Alaska accent. I think that we will see her do Fey. Maybe not this week, but sometime.

Unless of course Palin does a kick ass Tina Fey impression... Then I might be inclined to watch. But my guess is Palin is having a hard enough time keeping up the impression of herself.

Man- I hope they don't let her on. SNL went toothless with their satire years back when they started allowing the people they were skewering to show up and be a "good sport". Having Monica Lewinsky on was probably one of the worst moments in SNL history. "Uncle Mike" is undoubtedly rolling in his grave over this. Are they capable of making a social comment anymore, or is it all in "good fun"

Could these two women be more polar opposites? One is smart funny and talented. The other sets back women's rights about 30 years. Having the two of them in the same room would be an insult to comedy, the country, and all the dinosaurs jesus used to ride...

I hope this doesn't happen. SNL is a liberal show, we all know it. Sometimes a random Republican will show up, Dole was great, McCain was OK. Having someone like Palin on just ruins the whole thing.

The real Sarah Palin will f*ck it up. She already comes off as snarky and too-folksy-and-cute-for-her-own-good. She's a walking parody of herself. What good could possibly come of this other than having them both in the same room at the same time. That being said, I probably won't be watching the show either way.

Best SNL cameo ever was Monica Lewinsky on "The Ladies Man". The trouble with Sarah Palin is that Tina Fey is literally better at being Sarah Palin than she is.
