I'm gonna steal your job Chuck-o like I stole your bike! I know how you think! I've already tried the best of Dark Horse, their "Reserve Special Black Bier Ale" It can't match up even againts S.Nevada Pale, stout, porter, etc. But check out Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout. It'll put even more hair on yer mommies chest! Go Brooklyn!

Crooked Tree is also available at the Hopleaf. The weird thing is that the menu offers Dark Horse's special seasonal "Double Crooked Tree," but when I ordered one I got the normal Crooked Tree instead. Not complaining, though -- this beer is delicious.

Wow, never heard of this brewery! IPA is one of my favorite styles, thanks for the rec. Also, I think you meant New Holland Brewery in Michigan as a day trip. New Belgium is in Colorado, I think.

We tried to find Crooked Tree in a bar to little avail. Avail no longer. I JUST had this exact beer at Kuma's Corner on Sunday afternoon.
