I find odd the lack of information regarding the flight itself. The FAA Aeronautical (sectional) charts indicate this tower as 855 feet tall.

The chopper departed Sandwich en route for Childrens memorial hospital in Chicago, which is 65 miles by road.

It is exceedingly odd for any plane or chopper to be flying a route of roughly 65 miles at such a low altitude. Normally, low altitudes like this are only used on approach or departure from the runway.

Usually, during cruise over long distances, maintaining an altitude of at least 2000 feet is the norm.

Why is a helicopter flying at 800 feet over residential areas with known and published hazards?

I'm also very curious if this flight was being supervised by Air Traffic Control.

It seems ironic that the FCC logo shows an eagle getting electrocuted by high-tension wires.
