Scooped up Buffalo Bill's at In Fine Spirits a minute ago. Def matches up with Southern Tier.

I think Buffalo Bill's and Dogfish Head are the best pumpkin beers. Southern Tier tasted like caramel corn to me...

This is my favorite beer of all time! I live for this season! I bought a case as soon as it went on sale, and made calls asking for e.t.a.s! Tonight I'll be drinking it and carving pumpkins & baking pumpkin seends!!! Oh I love autumn.

I agree, the Dogfish Punkin, while decent, didn't quite do it for me. Especially when it rang in at twelve bucks for a four pack. I am currently trying to hunt down some of the New Holland Icabod pumpkin beer, I'm yet to try, but I hear great things.

I'd vote for this one as a fine pumpkin beer. Chuck's dead on, this isn't some saccharine sweet pumpkin-ish beer. Good solid taste to it.

Pumking is definately the best pumpkin beer out there. Just spectacular in every way. Dogfish Punkin is different that most of the others as the spices are more understated and you can actually taste pumpkin flesh.

I went through a phase last year where I couldn't get enough of anything pumpkin. The Southern Tier PumKing was unbelievable last year, and I think it might be even better this year. All other pumpkin beers (including Lakefront's Pumpkin Lager) pale in comparison to ST's. Oh, and Risque Cafe whiffs. I really wish it was better...but it's not.

if i could vote for next weeks pumpkin beer, i'd suggest southern tier's pumking imperial ale. however, i've not tried dogfish heads punkin ale yet, and i'm guessing it may be pretty tasty too.
