@bunnybear: Agreed. Missing the screaming part is unforgivable. Also, when it comes to hockey, no matter how good a player is, they usually end up getting traded to two or three teams. Sometimes as many as ten. I would go back and pick classic Blackhawks for "throwback" jerseys. Mikita, Hull, Roenick, and Belfour would all be good picks. But not Chelios. Because he was with the Wings for a while so fuck him.

I thought the best part about being a Red Wing fan in Chicago is that you don't live in Detroit. The Hawks were 3-1 against the Wings at home last year btw

Totally agree, Jeff and bunny. The "singsong" "Let's go Blackhawks" IS acceptable, but only when used as the first half of a call-and-response with "Detroit sucks".

Yeah, that's a classic. They should also mention in the article, that while you hate Detroit, you must be prepared to chant "Detroit Sucks!" at any time--in the stands at a Predators game, on the buss home from a Blues game--at any time. It's always applicable.
