It goes beyond saying that folks here at Chicagoist love Threadless. We also love Jones soda, their cane sugary goodness and the ability to have custom-made labels (a great gift, btw).
Jones and Threadless have teamed up to promote the winning designs in the latter's recent "Threadless Loves Democracy" contest. The designs by Esther Aarts, Ericka Gonzalez (Ms. Gonzalez's design is pictured) and Joe Carr can now used as the label of a 12-pack of your choice of Jones soda, along with a customized quote on the back label. I just ordered a bottle of black cherry soda with a quote taken from Steve Earle's Copperhead Road album: "If you don't vote, don't bitch."

Fight the Power through labels and T-shirts?
I guess it beats guns and pitchforks and effigies.
so that's who did Copperhead Road.
matilda: and nooses. don't forget nooses.
Yes, Shannon. Steve Earle did Copperhead Road, and while in the throes of a heroin habit that could have killed Keith Richards, to boot.
And fight the power also through food, matilda.
Foodies for Obama
Indeed, Chuck. Fight the power through consumerism. It is the American way.
You're such a killjoy, matilda.
I know, HateBrian. I should just go along and smile. I'll do better next time.
