Well, I guess one of the good things about living in Oak Park is voting. Just got back from my polling place and it's like a tomb in there...we were in and out in 10 minutes. Went to Starbucks to get our coffee, and they're out of sugar, cream AND milk. Starbucks coffee is undrinkable without those accouterments. Walked across the street to Ben & Jerry's to get the free ice cream but that deal is only from 5pm to 8pm, so we were an hour early :( I was touched when a little kid, around 13 years old saw my I Voted sticker and he walked up to me and said "Thank you for voting". Very sweet. Today was my son's first time voting. Exciting for him. He said there was a fight today at school...two girls...one for Obama and the other for McCain. There was much blood involved. I wonder if much of that kind of crap happened at other schools?

that's actually the source's view on the codes. we use their quote, right or wrong since it's a direct quote. i'll look into the code issue when i have some time. which might be next week...heh...

i have chills. my friend was just downtown and said, "the energy is electric." i've been thinking it's going to be like i get with thunderstorm energy -- really excited, really hyper and a little dangerous.

Marcus, you're not quite right about how the programming works. There's just one code, the ballot style. The Hyde Park voter is ok, I guess, but they're gonna have trouble explaining their ballot count.
