I remember showing a friend from London around town for a while. I was kinda broke, and reduced to buying whatever was on special at the bar. He spent plenty of time talking trash (rightfully so) about all American macrobrews - and then I bought him a PBR. I believe he said something to the effect of "holy shit, a beer with TASTE! About time!" PBR is a good standby, but I'm still a High Life guy. (a poet but didn't know it.)
