It was pretty interesting how that all came full circle, from the falling apart of the 60s and the Democratic Party in 1968, to the reunification and strengthening of the Democratic Party back again in 2008 in Grant Park.

From the democratic convention in 1968 to Obama giving his acceptance speech in 2008, Grant park has become one of the most politically important parks outside of Washington D.C.
