Give Back: Rock, Roll & Raise

We gave a shout out earlier this year to Minds Matter – a great non-profit college-prep program for inner-city high school kids. Their big fall fundraiser [PDF] is taking place tomorrow night and Minds Matter is hosting a three-hour all you can drink shindig at Sully’s House Tap Room & Grill, with proceeds going directly back to the organization.

The best part of the fundraiser? A Rock Band contest, with the winning group walking away with a pair of tickets for each band member (8 tickets total) to any show of their choosing at House of Blues, as well as entry to the Foundation Room, HOB's private club. Permission for your “band” to rock everyone’s socks off requires registration; once inside the event, mandatory four-member teams can register for a $20 entry fee. Anyone who attends the fundraiser is eligible to compete. For groupies (and everyone else), $40 gets you in at the door.
