The City of Chicago is trying to pick a new design for the 2009-2010 city vehicle sticker and they need your help. They solicited designs from area high school students and have narrowed down the choices to 10. As you can see, the city has chosen to honor the city's canines with the design. Be sure to stop by the City Clerk's website to cast your vote. While Chicagoist policy prevents us from officially endorsing a design - and they're all fantastic - we're suckers for anything involving the city flag.

Number 3 is a Lane Tech kid. Go Lane go!
However, leaving aside my pro-Lane Tech bias, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 9 are all appealing to me. 1, 6, 7, and 8 are all decent, but not to my taste.
These kids all did nice work though.

But yeah, no. 3, although that seventh one (with the dog tag that reads "neutered") says SO much more about Daley and his control of the City Council.
My vote is also for #3, but I also like #6 because that big brown dog sure looks like McGruff.

I will never understand why some folks own very large dogs when they have very small apartments in the City. That's just cruel.
I voted for #4, but I'm going to paste my cat's face over the dog's. lol
