If you have any interest in seeing it now's your chance, since Music Box is screening the poorly-reviewed film twice this weekend. Tickets have been predicted to sell out, so make your reservations ahead of time.

Jewish Book Month – celebrated during the month proceeding Hanukkah – began this year on November 22nd. The month long event is meant to promote Jewish literary culture, and the Spertus Institute of Jewish Studies is hosting a Jewish Book Month series of lectures, book clubs, special author appearances, and other related events. A full listing of events is online, but you can also celebrate Jewish Book Month by visiting the center’s bookstore or public library.
