Winter Parking Warning

By Tankboy in News on Nov 26, 2008 4:00PM

2008_11_parkingban.gifWe know it's only Wednesday, but most of you will probably be offline until you drag your well-fed butts back into the office next Monday, right? So don't forget when you park your car Sunday night that the city's draconian winter overnight parking ban kicks in at 3 a.m. this Monday, December 1.

Any car found on designated streets [PDF] between 3 a.m. to 7 a.m. every friggin' day April 1 will be ticketed and towed. Trust us when we suggest you DO NOT FORGET this, since a trip to any of the city's auto pounds is only a few steps from that final frozen circle of hell holding Satan himself in its grasp.

(Oh yeah, don't forget you can't park on snow routes [PDF] either if there's more than two inches of the wet stuff on the ground.) [City of Chicago Snow Season Information]
