Blackhawks Lose More Than Game
It was a bad night for the Blackhawks. In spite of a pair of Jonathan Toews, the San Jose Sharks pulled out a 3-2 win over the 'Hawks in overtime. But there was more for the 'Hawks to deal with: goalie Nikolai Khabibulin and defenseman Aaron Johnson both left the game with injuries. Both players are scheduled to be evaluated today.

Spurs Ease Past Bulls
The Bulls put up a fight against San Antonio last night but a good second half put the Spurs over the top 98-88 as the Bulls struggled to produce. The Bulls were held to 17 points in the fourth quarter. Ben Gordon led the Bulls with 23 points and Drew Gooden added 20 points and 12 rebounds.

College Basketball
Tyler Hansbrough scored 34 points for the No. 1 ranked North Carolina Tarheels as they topped No. 8 Notre Dame 102-87 to win the Maui Invitational. Kyle McAlarney led all scorers with 39 in a losing effort...Despite a fast start, the Northwestern Wildcats couldn't keep pace with Butler who defeated the Wildcats 57-53...DePaul moved to 3-0 on the season thanks to a 71-62 win over Detroit. Dar Tucker scored 22 for the Blue Demons.
