Jesse Jackson, actually IS helping raise awarness of this "issue", which shows just how tuned out we have become, if that's what it takes. But You can't blame him for it. I mean he's gotten so rich of the suffering of others, he could just retire. Oh and PhotoshopAbuser And as far as Jesse Jr goes, that apple did not far from the tree. He is nothing but a modern day caricature. At least Senior did do some good 20 years ago before he completely sold out. I like how on certain issues there are only three letters in Ward Up's alphabet

No, this is issue is not about Jesse Jackson. His supposed ego and the obsession of him by yourself and others is not the focus. The focus is on the workers and their families. Let's talk about that. Let's talk about the bailout and the Bank of America and the meeting that will be happening tomorrow that will hopefully end this situation fairly. Dont like Jackson? Fine. Ignore him. He's irrelevant other than for media attention. But it's silly for the Chicagoist and it's posters (and for the media at large) to focus on Jesse Jackson.

Wrong gerobobo! As soon as Jetstream shows up, it's all about him, he doesn't give a shit about the workers or anyone else for that matter, only about himself! He's a sick, self-absorbed asshole that can't bear the lack of media attention & hates not to be the star of where ever he is. He manages to make Oprah look shy, & reticent. I also have no doubt that he's picked out his next mistress from the best looking woman at the plant! She'll be the one that's going to "meet" with him to figure out the worker's future!

The WARN act, at first glance, looks decent and compassionate. But let's say you are a business, either a manufacturer or distributor, and you are considering an plant in Illinois. With anti-business acts like the our state's WARN act, combined with the absurdly high taxes in Illinois, would you choose Illinois. As many companies have decided, they can simply take their businesses and jobs elsewhere. Thank you, Gov. Blagojevich and the Democratic-controlled State Legislature.
