As of this afternoon, where is Blago? Is he in custody? I don't understand the legalities of continuing your job as governor of a state if one is under arrest. How does he get to keep being the governor if he's been arrested?

I wonder if Jesse Jackson Jr's name will come up during this. I doubt it. Emil Jones maybe, but not JJJ. So, do you think the seat of GOV will open up, or Lt. Gov and Quinn takes over?

Good on Rahm. This doesn't say much about the effectiveness of the FBI or the Federal Prosecutor's office if it took them until 12/5/08 and a tip from the Chief of Staff of the President-elect of the United States for them to get a break in a corruption investigation against Blago. Now the Bulldog's choice for Senate (Val Jarrett) will never get the nod she deserved. She would have been a great Senator.
