Another question, related my earlier comment on the constitutionality of a possible special election:
Wouldn't it be faster if instead of authorizing a special election to fill the senate seat, the legislature fast-tracked Blogojevich's impeachment? Pat Quinn would then be governor and could appoint the next senator, thus saving time and the cost of a special election.
Fast tracking the impeachment would be a good idea, but Im guessing some of these guys are waiting until all of the rotten fruit is shaken from the free first. Hey, it might be one of them...
Stealth, I like the rotting fruit analogy, or they are waiting for the earthquake to stop shaking, and to see if their house is still standing. Or another analogy, when the lights are turned on the roaches scatter? Dunno..aww maybe I am being mean...
There is also another element to this, the mental health of the current Illinois Gov. I mean, he may have a mental problem. For years, I have been thinking that he looks almost like a puppet, or lost, or like a robot shaking people's hands etc...I don't want to excuse corruption though.
The "Face of Disgrace" looks an awful lot like Spitzer's grimace during his whole debacle. Is this the new face for a governor who's fucked up? Although, Spitzer's actions don't seem bad at all in comparison.

Haha my exact first thoughts. I saw that laying on a table in my office and all I could think was "that dosent even make sense"
