Things have slowed just a bit as we gear up for New Year's Day celebrations but keep a few of these in your back pocket:
- December: It's Family Month at Koi in Evanston, Sunday through Thursday. Family Dinner is $19 for adults, $10 children 12 and under and Kid’s New Year’s Eve is $25 for adults, $10 for children. Tax and gratuity not included.
- December 13: The 61st Street Farmers Market will be the only indoor farmers market on Chicago's South Side offering the region's best organic and sustainably grown produce and meats, dairy products, bakery items, and more. Continue to enjoy the warm pleasure of connecting with your food as temperatures drop! LINK cards are accepted! Market hours are from 9am-12noon. Entry to the market is at 6100 S. Blackstone Avenue. - December 21: Don't forget about Opera's Holiday Dessert Class with Chef Beverly Kim. $30 gets you into the class, includes samples and wine. Learn how to make Green Tea Tiramisu, Chocolate Lava Cake, and Five Spice Roasted Banana Ice Cream. Call 312-461-0161 for your reservation.
