Today's weather sure has a lot of chutzpah to knock us around with this arctic blast as we're focused on this weekend's warm-up. With temps in the teens and winds of 10 to 15 mph, wind chills dipped below 0 this morning. And we felt every single degree of it. Even though the sun will be prevalent a second-straight day, we're not sure how much effect it'll actually have as temps hover around 20. Temps will drop back into the teens tonight, but an approaching storm will start whipping warmer, southern air into the area and by daybreak tomorrow, temps will have actually risen overnight. We'll get above freezing this weekend, with a possibility of thunderstorms by Sunday, when it'll feel downright tropical with highs in the mid 40s. And it'll melt all the uncleared and unsalted roads and sidewalks. Cause Heaven forbid the city should do what we all know is really Mother Nature's job.
