It's too bad that sketch wasn't funnier. There's a lot to laugh at about the Blagojevich situation. But too much time was devoted to hair jokes.
Jason Sudeikis' accent was all wrong. He was doing Boston instead of Illinois. The hair made him like the 5th Beatle. A few good jokes though. And Bill Hader as Byrd was hilarious!
Despite it not quite being perfect, I laughed harder at the Weekend Update bit than anything else on SNL in a long time -- at least partially because all week I'd been thinking, "REALLY?" about Blago and hoping they would do it.

That was OK. I think they could have done better. It's a shame the Daily Show is done for the year. They had some good stuff about dear leader Blago before they went on hiatus.
