<description>&lt;p&gt;Okay, now this makes no sense. Why would the number of people let out on bail change depending on whether they appear in-person or via TV? I&apos;d think the facts of the case should be the same despite the method of discussion.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;Please read between the lines of that report about bail hearings.  It&apos;s all about the spin.

Sure, the in-person hearings will &quot;...lessen jail overcrowding.&quot;  

Why?  Because more criminals will be let out on bail....with many of these criminals failing to appear for the next court date and/or committing MORE crimes while out on bail.

Video bail hearings WORK.  In-person bail hearings, in the hands of liberal Cook County judges, lead to criminals getting pumped back onto the street.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
