Fans of Mystery Science Theater 3000 will love the series of shows running at Lakeshore Theater this weekend. Cinematic Titanic will be a live revamp of the MST3K concept, with the original cast back to shamelessly mock some of the best of the worst films: Santa Claus Conquers the Martians, Blood of the Vampires and Frankenstein’s Castle of Freaks.

Native Chicagoan Cleveland Dean will be the featured installation artist at Phaiz Gallery and Boutique this month, filling up the gallery space with his stark black and white paintings. The installation kicks off this evening with an opening reception, as well as the launch of Phaiz’s newest monthly clothing and designer selection.
