After a round of brutal cold, things are going to warm up. A lot. Which is good after the awful iciness that struck the city this morning. Be careful driving, everyone. It'll be cloudy today but we'll see drizzle instead of snow and temps will hit the low-to-mid 40's. More rain moves in tonight and some of it could be heavy. Coupled with melting snow, there's going to be a lot of standing water out there, so be careful. Tomorrow, temps will skyrocket into the upper 50s with rain and thunderstorms. The chill returns this weekend, but still, you'll find me outside in a lawn chair no matter how cold it is.

stealth, are you going to be in your bermuda shorts when it hits 50? :)

my husband left for work around 8:20 and said the roads were fine out here in the western burbs... so i'm hoping when i venture out later i won't slide around too much!
